• Be careful not to damage the parts located under the vehicle (floor under cover, fuel filter, fuel tank and canister) when raising the vehicle using the lift.(Refer to General Information - "Lift and Support Points")
1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2.Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector (A).
3.Remove the connector (A) from the bracket and then disconnecting the wiring from the wiring mounting holder (B).
4.Remove the engine room rear under cover.(Refer to Engine And Transaxle Assembly - "Engine Room Under Cover")
5.Remove the front muffler
(1)Remove the front muffler hanger (A).
(2)Remove the front muffler (B).
Tightening torque :A : 30.0 - 46.0 N.m (3.0 - 4.7 kgf.m, 21.7 - 34.0 lb-ft)B : 30.0 - 35.0 N.m (3.1 - 3.6 kgf.m, 22.4 - 26.0 lb-ft)
6.Install in the reverse order of removal.
• When installing, replace with new gaskets.
1.Remove the center muffler (A).
Tightening torque :39.2 - 58.8 N.m (4.0 - 6.0 kgf.m, 28.9 - 43.4 lb-ft)
2.Install in the reverse order of removal.
• When installing, replace with new gaskets.
1.Remove the rear muffler (A).
Tightening torque :39.2 - 58.8 N.m (4.0 - 6.0 kgf.m, 28.9 - 43.4 lb-ft)
2.Install in the reverse order of removal.
• When installing, replace with new gaskets.
